Object History: During the height of the Aesthetic Movement in Great Britain, the production of decorative tiles reached its peak. Renowned manufacturers such as Minton, Hollins and Co. and Sherwin & Cotton specialized in these naturalistic motifs, influenced by Japanese art and nature observation.
