This polychrome ceramic tile represents an outstanding example of Valencian industrial production from the late 19th century. The design features stylized floral motifs framed in a Modernista aesthetic, characteristic of the ceramic centers of Onda and Manises.

History of the object: The ceramic industry of the Valencian Community reached its technical and artistic peak at the end of the 19th century, merging traditional methods with new European aesthetics. These pieces were used both for interior wall cladding and for the ornamentation of facades of the bourgeoisie of the time.
