1. Right of withdrawal from a distance purchase (Derecho de Desistimiento)

1.1. In accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU and Article 102 of the TRLGDCU, the Buyer, being a natural person (consumer) and residing in the EU, has the right to withdraw from the sales contract without giving any reason within 14 (fourteen) calendar days.

1.2. The withdrawal period will expire 14 days from the day on which the Buyer, or a third party indicated by them (other than the carrier), acquires physical possession of the goods. If the order consisted of multiple items delivered separately, the period is counted from the day the last item is received.

2. Categories of excluded goods (Returns not permitted)

The right of withdrawal and the 14-day return do not apply to the following goods presented in the RARITET store:

2.1. Goods that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons. This category includes:

  • Vintage perfumery (perfumes, colognes, eau de toilette, etc.).

  • Vintage cosmetics, care products, powders, lipsticks, creams.

  • Any liquid, paste, powder, or solid consumable materials.

2.2. Goods which, after delivery and by their nature, are inseparably mixed with other items.

2.3. Goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized.

3. Conditions for return approval (for eligible goods)

3.1. For the return of an item not included in the list of exceptions (point 2) to be approved, the following requirements must be strictly met:

  • The product must be in exactly the same condition as it was sent by the Seller and received by the Buyer.

  • The product must not have any new (acquired after receipt) signs of use, scratches, chips, cracks, signs of independent cleaning, restoration, or chemical exposure.

  • All original tags, seals, labels, protective materials, and packaging elements provided by the Seller must be kept intact.

3.2. Diminished value of the goods (Buyer's responsibility): In accordance with Art. 108.2 of the TRLGDCU, the Buyer is liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods. In the event of returning a product with signs of use or damage, the Seller reserves the right to proportionally reduce the refund amount up to 100% of the value.

4. Procedure for initiating a return

4.1. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Buyer must notify the Seller of their decision to withdraw from the contract by an unequivocal written statement before the 14-day period expires.

4.2. The statement must be sent to the email address: ventas@raritet.shop.

4.3. The email must include: the buyer's full name, order number, date of receipt of the order, name of the product planned for return, and attached photographs of the current condition of the product from all angles (this is necessary to verify the integrity of the item).

5. Return shipping costs and transportation

5.1. The direct costs of returning the goods to the Seller are fully borne by the Buyer.

5.2. The Buyer undertakes to send the product back no later than 14 calendar days from the day they inform the Seller of the withdrawal from the purchase.

5.3. The Buyer is fully responsible for the safety of the product during its return transportation. The Seller strongly recommends sending vintage and fragile items with mandatory insurance for the full value of the product and providing a tracking number. If the product is broken or lost during the return shipping, no refund will be issued to the Buyer, and the Buyer must independently resolve the dispute with their chosen logistics company.

6. Verification of goods and refund

6.1. After receiving the returned product at the Seller's warehouse, a technical specialist conducts an examination of its condition within 3 (three) business days to check compliance with the original state (a comparison is made with pre-sale photographs).

6.2. If the product meets the requirements of point 3, the Seller will issue a refund (including the cost of initial standard delivery, with the exception of supplementary costs resulting from the Buyer's choice of an express delivery type) within 14 calendar days from the moment the Seller was notified of the withdrawal.

6.3. However, in accordance with Art. 107.3 of the TRLGDCU, the Seller may withhold the refund until the goods have been received back, or until the Buyer has supplied indisputable evidence of having sent back the goods (receipt and tracking number of the insured shipment), whichever is the earliest.

6.4. The refund will be carried out strictly using the same means of payment as the Buyer used for the initial transaction (bank card via Redsýs or Bizum), unless expressly agreed otherwise. The Seller will not charge any fees for processing the refund.
