An exquisitely detailed vintage Chinese porcelain decorative plate. The central medallion is hand-painted in the vibrant Famille Rose style, depicting a scene of court ladies in a pavilion, engaged in leisure activities. The rim of the plate is richly decorated with a complex geometric and floral pattern that beautifully frames the scene.

This piece is a wonderful example of 20th-century Chinese decorative art, ideal for collectors of oriental porcelain or for adding a touch of elegance and Chinoiserie style to any interior.

The reverse bears an apocryphal red seal mark "Qianlong Nian Zhi" (Made in the Qianlong period). This mark was frequently used on 20th-century pieces as a tribute to the high-quality porcelain of the 18th century, and does not indicate production in that antique period.
