Decorative porcelain plate from the limited series "The 12 Signs of the Zodiac", designed by Salvador Dalí for the Dapor, S.A. manufactory. This piece represents the sign of Sagittarius through the author's characteristic surrealist iconography.

Object History:
Produced in Vigo, Spain, in November 1991, this specimen is part of the exclusive "Gold Series". The collaboration between Dalí's heirs and Spanish porcelain houses during the late 80s and early 90s resulted in numbered editions that transferred Dalí's drawings to ceramic support with precious metal finishes.
