A complete set of seven figurines representing the Shichifukujin, or Seven Lucky Gods of Japanese mythology. Produced during the late Showa era, these pieces are made of high-density resin with a finish emulating the patina of aged ivory.

Historical Context: The Shichifukujin are an eclectic group of deities from Buddhism, Shintoism, and Taoism. The set includes Ebisu, Daikokuten, Bishamonten, Benzaiten, Fukurokuju, Jurojin, and Hotei, each identified by their traditional iconographic attributes such as the tai fish, rice bags, spears, or musical instruments.

Details and Condition:
- Period: 1970s
- Technique: Synthetic resin molding with manual engraving and tinting
- Height: 7 cm (2.76 inches) per figure
- Material: Resin
- Condition: Six of the seven figures are in intact condition. One of the deities shows significant structural damage with material loss at the top of the head. The artificial patina remains stable.
