A collector's specimen of the legendary "Joy" perfume by Jean Patou in its highest concentration, Parfum Extrait. This 7 ml bottle, dated circa 1982, is presented in its iconic black glass bottle with a red stopper, a design by Louis Süe inspired by ancient Chinese snuff boxes.

Launched in 1930 during the Great Depression, "Joy" was created by perfumer Henri Alméras and marketed as "the costliest perfume in the world." Its opulent floral composition, requiring thousands of Grasse jasmine and Bulgarian rose flowers for a single ounce, established it as a symbol of luxury and a milestone in perfume history.
