Glazed porcelain sculpture from the Hispania manufactory, produced in Manises, Spain, in the mid-20th century. The piece depicts two cherubs or putti in a bucolic scene; one holds a flower basket while the other places a floral wreath. The work is notable for the complexity of the botanical modeling and the delicacy of the hand-painted pastel tones.

History: The Hispania house was one of the most prominent porcelain firms in the Valencian Community during the middle of the last century. Its technical and artistic prestige led to the brand being integrated into the Lladró group in the late 1960s. This piece retains the original blue stamp on the base, identifying its era of greatest artisanal splendor.
