Rare early Soviet production sugar bowl or candy dish, manufactured by the famous cooperative (artel) "Avtoshtamp" in Moscow during the 1950s. This piece is a prominent example of post-war industrial design in the USSR.

Object History:
The Artel "Avtoshtamp" was one of the most prestigious Moscow enterprises for metal and glass wares before the full nationalization of cooperatives in the 1960s. Their products were characterized by a combination of functionality and modernist aesthetics. The design with circular depressions or "lenses" in the glass is a hallmark of Soviet Mid-Century style.

Technical details:
- Period: 1950s.
- Technique: Mold-blown glass with lens decoration; die-cut metal mount.
- Approximate dimensions: Diameter: 12 cm (4.7 inches); Height with handle: 13 cm (5.1 inches).
