We present a collector's specimen of the legendary Joy perfume by Jean Patou, in its Compagnon edition. This format corresponds to the highest concentration of the fragrance (Extrait de Parfum), presented in a ribbed glass bottle with a gold-tone cap and its original case.

History: Originally created in 1930 by Henri Alméras during the Great Depression, Joy established itself as the standard of extreme luxury. The house of Jean Patou used massive quantities of natural raw materials, specifically Grasse jasmine and May rose, for every ounce of extract. This specific specimen, made in France, dates from the late 1980s.

Details and Condition:
- Period: Circa 1980-1989
- Technique: Extrait de Parfum
- Volume: 6 ml (0.2 oz)
- Material: Glass, gold-tone metal, textured cardboard
- Condition: Bottle nearly full. The liquid has a deep amber color due to the natural maturation of the essences. The box shows minimal signs of storage wear, maintaining its original structure and closures.

Value and Use: A fundamental piece for scholars of classic perfumery and collectors of the Patou house. Due to the age of the product, the item is sold as a collector's item. No exchanges or returns are accepted. Please note that the scent of a vintage perfume may not match a new unit 100%, as the top notes may have altered over time.
