We present a specimen of Mitsouko by Guerlain in its rare 60 ml presentation. This fragrance, originally created by Jacques Guerlain in 1919, is a cornerstone of the Chypre Fruity olfactory family. The bottle corresponds to the iconic heart-shaped stopper design (Bouchon Coeur), made in France.
History of the object: Mitsouko was conceived as a tribute to the heroine of the novel 'La Bataille'. This specific specimen, identifiable by its 83% vol alcohol content, belongs to the production of the late 1970s or early 1980s, maintaining the classic aesthetic of the House of Guerlain.
Details and Condition:
- Period: Circa 1975-1982
- Technique: Molded glass with manual sealing (baudruchage)
- Size: 60 ml (2.0 oz)
- Material: Glass, silk thread, perfume extract
- Condition: The bottle is in excellent condition, sealed and with the original liquid level. The cardboard box shows severe wear, with visible damage to the edges, corners, and surface, which has been factored into the valuation.
Use and Value: This item is offered as a collector's piece, for historical study of perfumery, or for period vanity decoration. Due to its age, the contents are not suitable for regular cosmetic use.
Important note: This item is not eligible for exchange or return. Please be advised that the scent of a vintage perfume may not match its original state 100%, as the fragrance can change over decades and lose part of its top notes.
