Object History: These pieces represent the Italian artisanal tradition of the mid-20th century, inspired by Grand Tour souvenirs. Each lid is composed of hundreds of tiny blown glass tesserae meticulously arranged by hand to form detailed floral motifs, a technique requiring great precision and color mastery.
