We present a set of two decorative German porcelain plates, manufactured in the late 19th or early 20th century.
History of the object: These specimens feature the incised mark "RF/B", attributed to the Rhenania Porzellanfabrik manufactory in Bonn-Duisdorf, Germany. The production of this period is distinguished by the use of romantic and children's scenes in the Belle Époque style, intended for the decoration of period interiors.
Details and condition:
- Period: Circa 1890-1910.
- Technique: Molded porcelain with scalloped edges and reliefs, decorated with polychrome decals and gold finishes.
- Size: Diameter of 20 cm (7.8 inches) each.
- Material: Hard-paste white porcelain.
- Condition: Good conservation. Functional wear is observed in the perimeter gilding due to the passage of time. No cracks, hairlines, or restorations.
