Guerlain Shalimar in its highest concentration of Extrait de Parfum, presented in a 30 ml (1.0 oz) bottle produced in 1998. This collector's piece is preserved in its original purple velvet case with gold inscriptions, maintaining the luxury aesthetic characteristic of the French house at the end of the 20th century.
History of the object: Shalimar, created by Jacques Guerlain in 1925, is considered the first oriental perfume in history, inspired by the gardens of the Taj Mahal. The bottle design, known as "chauve-souris" (bat-wing), was originally designed by Raymond Guerlain and manufactured by Baccarat. This 1998 edition continues the tradition of high perfumery with traditional manual sealing.
