Antique table lamp base in Thuringian porcelain (Germany), dating to the late 19th Century (circa 1890). This piece, originally designed as a kerosene lamp, was later converted to electricity, preserving its original sculptural structure of high ornamental value.

History of the object: Produced in the Thuringia region, known for its prestigious manufactories such as Sitzendorf, Volkstedt, or Von Schierholz. The piece shows the influence of the nineteenth-century Rococo revival style, characterized by the dynamism of the figures and the realistic modeling of botanical elements in high relief. It features the blue underglaze crossed lines mark, the impressed model number "261", and the export inscription "GERMANY".
