Collectible historical fan, manufactured in Valencia at the turn of the century (19th-20th), signed by the renowned artist Rafael Taberner.
Rafael Taberner was a prominent painter and designer of fans in Valencia, whose family dynasty established one of the most influential fan manufactories in the region, active for generations. The piece features the biblical scene 'Joseph before Pharaoh', executed with a delicate pictorial technique on fabric, characteristic of the Valencian fine arts school of the period. The reverse displays a classical landscape with a gazebo.

- Technique / Style: Double-sided manual painting on fabric, pierced guard sticks decorated with gold leaf.
- Size: Radius of 28 cm (11.0 inches).
- Material: Fabric, galalith (historic synthetic material imitating mother-of-pearl), gold leaf, and metal.
- Condition: Very good overall state of preservation. It shows slight natural shrinkage due to dehydration on the outer guard sticks, typical of the aging of early galalith. It retains its original reddish rigid presentation box.
This piece represents high value for collectors of the golden age of Valencian fans, standing out due to its documented authorship and the preservation of its period packaging.
