This copy of 'Oficio Divino' is a 19th-century liturgical prayer book, published in Paris by Laplace, Sánchez y Cía. It stands out for its magnificent binding in carved celluloid plates with sacred motifs in high relief, its profusely chased and gilded edges, and its exceptional clasp made of silver.
The work was printed in Paris and distributed in Spain, as evidenced by the original stamp of the historic 'Librería de los Sucesores de Badal' in Valencia (Plaza de la Constitución, 4). It contains a liturgical calendar with a table of times covering the years 1872 to 1885, placing its printing in the 1870s.
