This antique fabric panel measures 140 cm by 110 cm and originates from a disassembled traditional Valencian skirt (espadolín) dating from the early 20th century. Crafted from high-density silk interwoven with metallic lurex threads, it features a complex floral polychrome pattern on a characteristic olive-yellow background.

Traditional Valencian silk weaving, centered in the region of Valencia, Spain, has historically produced some of Europe's finest brocades and damasks, heavily utilized in religious vestments and traditional regional attire (indumentaria valenciana).
