A very special and rare piece: a white glazed ceramic decorative jug with high reliefs of swans and water lilies, based on an anonymous design published in The Art-Journal in May 1852.

The original motif was later reproduced by Robert Heron at the Scottish Fife Pottery factory in Kirkcaldy. This pitcher features a stunning relief composition of swans surrounded by aquatic vegetation, with an elegantly molded bird-shaped handle.
