An authentic antique Spanish traditional festival bodice (jubón/corpiño), dating from the late 18th to the early 19th century. This historic garment is entirely hand-stitched, constructed long before the advent of mechanical sewing machines, presenting an exceptional document of period craftsmanship.

Originating from regional Spain, this garment was worn as part of ceremonial festive attire. While the textile body shows extreme structural wear, the reverse panel showcases highly ornate, manually applied embroidery using metallic wire, spangles, sequins, and glass paste cabochons that has remained largely intact.
