Decorative fine porcelain tibor from the Herend manufactory, Hungary, decorated with the famous Apponyi motif in green. The piece features a flared body on a square base supported by four gilded claw feet, a technically complex shape characteristic of the firm's luxury production.

Design History: The Apponyi pattern, also known as "Chinese Bouquet," was originally designed for Count Albert Apponyi. It is based on a simplification of Indian floral motifs and has become an emblem of hand-painted Hungarian porcelain since the mid-20th century.
