The Story Behind the Fabric
This rare silk find originates from a deconstructed Traje de Fallera (the prestigious traditional dress of Valencia, Spain). Dating back to the first half of the 20th century, this specific fabric was chosen for its high-luxury composition: natural black silk woven with genuine silver lurex threads. It was once part of a voluminous skirt worn during the world-famous Fallas festival. Reclaiming this fabric allows its history to continue in new, bespoke creations.
