Complete set of three pieces showing typical characteristics of antique earthenware. Notable glaze staining and darkening (browning) is present on the dessert plate, especially visible on the reverse side and partially on the front face. Mild age-related glaze crazing and wear to the gilded borders are present, consistent with age and utility. No structural cracks or restorations detected.

An authentic mid-19th century British earthenware tea trio consisting of a teacup, saucer, and dessert plate, manufactured by the renowned Staffordshire pottery Pinder, Bourne & Hope. This set features the rare "Dresden" pattern, which is a highly detailed polychrome hand-painted adaptation of the classic "Indian Tree" motif, showing stylized branches and exotic floral blooms surrounded by a Greek key style border.

The partnership of Pinder, Bourne & Hope operated at the Fountain Place and Nile Street Works in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, between 1851 and 1862. This specific set bears the printed underglaze blue crown mark with the initials "P.B. & H." along with the pattern name "DRESDEN" and hand-written pattern numbers, dating its production precisely to this short-lived Victorian-era collaboration.
