Decorative wall plate manufactured in Schramberg during the period of Villeroy & Boch ownership. The piece features a relief majolica design with a radial structure simulating basketry, decorated with botanical motifs of wildflowers and a wheat stalk.

History of the object: The Schramberg factory was acquired by Villeroy & Boch in 1883 and sold in 1912. During this period, production focused on high-quality earthenware and majolica. The 'V&B S' stamp within a hexagon, visible on the base, is the characteristic mark of this historical collaboration, along with the mold number 977.
