An antique bed linen set from the first half of the 20th century, comprising one flat sheet and one pillowcase. Crafted from high-grade fine linen fabric originally prepared as part of a traditional wedding trousseau.

This ensemble was executed in the first half of the 20th century by European needlework artisans. Pieces of this standard were handcrafted for marriage trousseaus, combining raised white embroidery (broderie blanche), plumetis dot motifs, and delicate handmade lace insert trims.
