A magnificent antique Chinese porcelain plate, dating to the Republic Period (1912-1949). The piece is exquisitely hand-painted in the vibrant Famille Rose style, depicting an elegant procession of court ladies. A central, richly attired figure is sheltered under an elaborate parasol. The plate's rim is lavishly decorated with panels containing flowers and birds, set against a green ground with floral motifs.

This piece is an outstanding example of early 20th-century porcelain craftsmanship, ideal for serious collectors of Chinese art and Republic Period pieces. Its detailed scene and rich color palette make it an exceptional focal point for any display.

The reverse bears an apocryphal red seal mark "Qianlong Nian Zhi" (Made in the Qianlong period). This mark was used on high-quality Republican-era pieces as a tribute to the excellence of 18th-century porcelain.
