An exceptional antique soup or deep plate from the celebrated manufacturer Société Céramique of Maastricht, Holland. This collector's piece, produced in the 1920s, belongs to a series chronicling the life of Napoleon Bonaparte. The central illustration, rendered in black transferware, is titled "ENTRÉE DE NAPOLÉON AU CAIRE" (Napoleon's Entry into Cairo) and shows the emperor on horseback before a crowd and oriental architecture.

The rim of the plate is magnificently decorated with symbols of the First French Empire, including eagles, the crowned 'N', and stars, giving the piece exceptional historical and decorative character.

An essential item for collectors of European ceramics, Napoleonic memorabilia, and military history. Ideal for display as a centerpiece in a collection. The backstamp confirms its authenticity and origin.
