Decorative plate in fine Bone China produced by Hammersley, a division of Royal Worcester Spode, in England. The piece features a detailed naturalist illustration of a kingfisher (Alcedo atthis) with prey in its beak, set in a riverside environment with reeds and aquatic vegetation.

Founded in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, the Hammersley & Co. manufactory is renowned for the quality of its porcelain and its wildlife decorations.
