Object History: The Longwy Manufactory, founded in 1798, is world-renowned for its mastery of enamelled ceramics. Pattern D.188 is one of the firm's most iconic designs, integrating Japonism influences into the French ceramic tradition. The stamp on the reverse confirms its production in the second half of the 20th century.
