French porcelain sugar bowl from the William Guérin & Co (Limoges) manufactory. This piece features a geometric shape with faceted edges, characteristic of the stylistic transition at the end of the 19th century, decorated with floral motifs applied in gold.

History: The William Guérin firm, established in 1872, became one of the most prominent houses in Limoges, noted for the whiteness of its paste and the quality of its gilding. The mark on the base was used between 1891 and 1932.
