White porcelain cup and saucer with neoclassical decoration. This table set stands out for its refined upper gold band, ornamented with medallions containing pink rosebuds, a characteristic design of the Belle Époque period.

Object history: At the beginning of the 20th century, European porcelain reached a high degree of technical sophistication. This set, similar in style to Limoges or Vieux Paris productions, exemplifies the transition from Art Nouveau towards more contained and symmetrical forms. The use of hand-applied gold leaf highlights its luxury artisanal origin.
