Decorative potpourri jar or perfume burner with lid, produced by the famous Cerámicas Hispania (CH) manufactory in Manises, Valencia. This piece represents the mid-20th century Valencian ceramic tradition.

History of the object: Cerámicas Hispania was one of the most prominent firms in Manises, active mainly from the 1940s. Its pieces are recognized for the quality of their earthenware, the use of complex historical-style molds, and meticulous manual decoration that recovered the aesthetics of European Baroque and Rococo.
