Polychrome porcelain figurine titled "Wayside Harmony", produced by the prestigious German manufacture Goebel. This piece depicts a boy sitting on a wooden fence intently observing a small bird, one of the most iconic scenes in the series.

History of the object: The Hummel line is based on the drawings of Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel. Model 111/3/0 was originally designed by master sculptor Reinhold Unger in 1938. The stamp on the base corresponds to the TMK-6 period (The Missing Bee), used between 1979 and 1991, identified by the "W. Germany" inscription and the Goebel logo with the small bee inside the V.
