Item History: This set was manufactured by Konsum Seifenwerk Riesa, one of East Germany's leading soap factories. This specific line, 'Die weiße Lavendelseife' (The White Lavender Soap), was designed for both the domestic market and mass export to the Soviet Union, where GDR hygiene products were highly valued for their superior quality and elegant design.
