This statuette is a pharmaceutical advertising object that reproduces a seated figure from the Colima culture of western Mexico. The piece was designed as an institutional gift for healthcare professionals.

Object History: Distributed in the 1990s by Laboratorios Solac to promote the drug Febrectal, this series of reproductions sought to link the brand with universal cultural heritage. The wooden base contains technical inscriptions citing the Barrancas period (500-400 BC) and the therapeutic function of the original drug.
