Terracotta ceramic stamp inspired by pre-Columbian pintaderas from the Central Mexico region, produced in the 1990s.

History of the object: Mesoamerican pintaderas were fundamental tools used for the ornamentation of textiles, ceramics, and human skin through the application of mineral or vegetable pigments. This specimen accurately replicates the symbolic motifs and functionality of original stamps found in archaeological excavations in the Basin of Mexico.
