Large-format advertising metal container produced for the brand “El Divino Pastor” in the town of Puente Genil, Cordoba.

Object History: Manufactured by the firm of Manuel Baeza Castellano, this piece is a material document of the Andalusian agrifood industry from the mid-20th century. Puente Genil is historically recognized as the epicenter of quince paste production in Spain. The iconography on the lid, representing the Shepherd Boy with a lamb, reflects the popular religious tradition integrated into industrial packaging design of the period.
