Japanese-made celluloid doll, dating from the mid-20th century. This specimen represents post-war Japanese export toy production, characterized by the use of lightweight materials and detailed handcrafted modeling.

Object History: After 1945, the Japanese toy industry specialized in celluloid figures for international markets. This piece bears the manufacturer's stamp on the back, consisting of a star with the letter "H" and the inscription "MADE IN JAPAN", identifying it as a product of classic manufacture of the period.
