Original Manton de Manila from the Isabelline period (mid-19th century). This piece is an exceptional example of Spanish and Oriental textile craftsmanship of the era, characterized by extreme lightness and superior embroidery quality.

Historical Context: Shawls from the Isabelline era are highly valued for their fine-gauge silk, originally intended for the high aristocracy. Unlike modern flamenco pieces, these shawls are distinguished by their ethereal drape and the use of complex narrative motifs inspired by Asian art.

Technical Details:
- Period: 19th Century (Isabelline Era).
- Technique: Double-sided hand embroidery on natural silk (identical on both sides).
- Motifs: Chinese genre scenes (Chinoiserie), architecture, birds, and floral ornamentation.
- Dimensions: 160 cm x 160 cm (63 x 63 inches) excluding fringes.
- Fringe Length: 30 cm (11.8 inches).
- Weight: 390 g (13.7 oz).
- Material: 100% Natural silk.

Condition: Very good structural condition. Given its age of over 150 years, it shows slight oxidation spots (patina of time) that do not compromise the integrity of the silk. The fringes and manual lattice remain intact.

Value: A high-importance piece for historical clothing collectors, textile museums, or exclusive ceremonial use in weddings and gala events.
