Uranium glass (vaseline glass) pitcher with a satin finish, dating from the 1930s. The piece features wheel-etched decoration with cherry and foliage motifs, typical of interwar glassware production.

Object History: Uranium glass, known for its intense green fluorescence under ultraviolet light (365 nm), was widely produced in Europe and the US until the mid-20th century. The frosted or satin finish was achieved through acid etching, giving the piece a velvety texture.
