Decorative pressed glass bowl of the 'carnival glass' typology with an iridescent Marigold finish. The piece features the classic relief pattern of strawberries and leaves against a basketweave texture background, characteristic of mid-20th-century productions.

Object History: Carnival glass emerged in the early 20th century as an affordable alternative to hand-blown art glass. In the 1970s, various manufacturers revitalized these designs, using traditional molds and metallic salt vapors to recreate the rainbow luster over amber-based glass, achieving the orange tone known as Marigold.
