We present a commemorative rosary from the mid-20th century, manufactured to celebrate the centenary of the Apparitions of the Virgin in Lourdes (1858-1958). This piece stands out for its restraint and the quality of its original materials.
History: The apparitions at the Grotto of Massabielle began in 1858. In 1958, on the occasion of the centenary, high-quality devotional items were produced for pilgrims. This rosary is a physical testimony of that jubilee, preserving the traditional iconography of the period.
Technical details:
- Period: Year 1958.
- Technique: Hand-linked faceted glass beads on a brass chain.
