Antique Spanish folding fan from the first half of the 20th century, a high-quality artisanal piece featuring double-sided hand-painted decoration on a fabric leaf and refined openwork on its structure.
This specimen stands out for the artistic reproduction on its fabric front of Francisco de Goya's famous genre painting, "La Gallina Ciega" (The Blind Man's Buff, 1789). The scene is signed by the artist "F. Zam" on the left side. The reverse depicts a delicate lake landscape with swans, hand-painted on the fabric, providing a double aesthetic perspective of great value for display.
