Produced in the historic metallurgical city of Éibar (Guipúzcoa), this instrument represents a postwar engineering solution created specifically for the daily care of elderly people with poor dentition, children, and stomach illness patients. Its system of three parallel articulated metal blades simulates the natural chewing process through manual pressure.
