Spanish earthenware decorative plate made in the 1970s. The piece features a hand-painted central bullfighting scene, surrounded by a perimeter border with the 'hierros' or brands of the most prominent brave cattle ranches in the history of bullfighting in Spain.

Object History: This type of ceramic was produced in Spanish artisanal centers during the second half of the 20th century, responding to the boom in bullfighting collecting. The inclusion of ranch brands (ownership marks of brave cattle) adds documentary and technical value for bullfighting scholars, identifying the emblems of the most legendary breeding houses.
