Chinese decorative porcelain plate in Famille Rose polychrome enamels, produced during the 1940s (Republic Period).

History: During the Chinese Republic period (1912-1949), Jingdezhen manufacturers continued the traditions of previous dynasties, refining the Famille Rose style. This piece features a classic narrative scene of court ladies in a garden, a recurring theme symbolizing elegance and the refined life of the Chinese aristocracy. The rim is decorated with cartouches containing birds and floral motifs against a green enamel background with geometric patterns.
