History of the item: The Norfolk pattern was originally registered in 1912 under number Rd No 597783. This series is a prominent example of cobalt blue transferware technique, inspired by the aesthetics of Delft porcelain. The central scene depicts a Dutch rural landscape with windmills and boats, framed by a highly detailed geometric floral border.
