Decorative earthenware pitcher produced by the Belgian manufacture Boch La Louvière around 1925. This model belongs to the heyday of the Art Deco style and demonstrates high craftsmanship in polychrome enamel painting.

History of the item: The Boch La Louvière manufacture gained world fame in the interwar period thanks to the work of Charles Catteau and his successor Raymond Chevallier. The presented piece is made in a style characteristic of Chevallier: the use of a rich cobalt background combined with large stylized flowers and geometric elements that emphasize the shape of the vessel.
